Field Service Technician

**What will you be doing?**

You will be responsible for completing scheduled and preventative maintenance tasks and repairing the equipment in breakdown situations. The equipment is electro-mechanical in nature, so the role requires a mix of both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting knowledge and experience.

Work is mostly performed at the customers' sites which operate across a wide range of industries so there is considerable variety to your day-to-day activities. While most of your time will be spent servicing Auckland-based customers, the company is a major supplier to Fonterra so out-of-town travel will be required from time to time, particularly during the winter shut period - for which you will be suitably compensated.

**What are we looking for?**
- EST qualification is required.
- A technical mindset (troubleshooting skills, electrical knowledge and hands-on mechanical skills).
- The ability to stay calm when working under pressure.
- A friendly and personable demeanour with great customer relationship skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English and the ability to communicate in a clear and precise manner.
