**About the Organisation**:
Many organisations recognise the significance of proactively championing good mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. Workplace Support is one of the longest serving New Zealand employee assistance programme providers supporting leaders to address the ongoing and emerging needs of their people.

Workplace Support partners with businesses and organisations to assist them with both employee and organisational wellbeing, ing an early, pre-emptive approach for independent wraparound support and wellbeing services. Employees have ready access to dedicated in-person staff support, counselling, training, financial mentoring and professional supervision.

**About The Role**:
The Chief Executive Officer provides strategic leadership to create a united, high performing team who deliver exceptional services to their clients, enhancing the wellbeing of others in the workplace, whilst upholding the values and principles that are at the heart of Workplace Support.

There are 51 staff spread throughout the South Island with offices in Christchurch and Dunedin. The role is based in Christchurch.

**Skills & Experience**:
You will have sound business experience and financial acumen and be able to identify opportunities to enhance service offerings. A confident and competent communicator, you will form sustainable long-term relationships both across the organisation (recognising the challenges of being geographically spread) and outside Workplace Support.

In addition, you will have:

- At least 10 years’ senior management experience in professional services and/or a customer focussed role, familiar with reporting to a Board.
- Experience in developing strategic plans, rolling out initiatives and achieving results.
- A track record of successfully leading a culture of high-quality service.
- Proven experience leading teams through change.
- Experience in stakeholder management.
