**Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role**

The Lead Solutions Architect is responsible for managing the Solution Architecture team consisting permanent and fixed term Solution Architects and will be responsible for the Solution Architecture practice.

The role will be responsible for designs, providing advice on solution implementations and ensuring alignment with FENZ and government standards. The work includes resourcing, costs modelling, cost recovery and managing delivery of solution designs so that designs meet business needs and the process is understood and documented.

**Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga - To be successful in this role, we’d expect you will bring**:

- Proven experience managing and maintaining a team of technical people including resource modelling, cost recovery and hiring processes
- Demonstrated experience in creating, maintaining, and fostering strong relationships with business groups, external stakeholders, and internal ICT staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that can build and maintain relationships within FENZ, and with external vendors and other government agencies.
- Understanding of modern development and deployment practices, support frameworks and Azure cloud services.

**The salary range for this role is $153,231 - $170,257 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.**
