The Solutions Architect has a significant organisational impact ensuring the design of robust and innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of Te Whatu Ora.

You are a highly skilled Solutions Architect or Senior Software Designer/Developer with a passion for creating resilient and cutting-edge solutions. As a team player, you are able to collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals. You are adaptable and flexible which enables you to navigate through change and uncertainty with ease.

Your ability to establish and grow positive and enduring relationships across a range of stakeholder groups is unparalleled. You are a natural relationship builder, able to connect with people from all walks of life and build trust and rapport quickly.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications both technically and architecturally focused which help support your role.
- Solution Architecture experience 3+ years.
- Strong written and oral communications skills around creating clear and concise solution options papers, solution discussion papers and solution designs and communication these to core stakeholders (e.g. business, programmes and architecture governance groups) to gain endorsement
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguity and identify and set direction.
- Experience educating, teaching, and mentoring on complex technical topics.
- Experience working in an Agile methodology (e.g., Scrum).
- Knowledge of the Health Sector and Government is preferred but not essential.
