**Are you ready to make a difference for the crisis response in our local district specialist mental health and addiction services?**

We are looking for a Team Leader for the Wellington Crisis Resolution Service who can lead the delivery of clinical services across the crisis response function, ensuring that people who present at a vulnerable time in their lives receive care in a way that is safe, effective and mana-enhancing. Leading a team of highly experienced and skilled mental health clinicians, the Team Leader will work in partnership with other agencies such as New Zealand Police, local Emergency Departments, primary care/NGO providers, and Whakarongorau Aotearoa to provide seamless, integrated care across the system. This is an exciting time, with several changes happening to crisis care at a local and national level and aligning the service with these developments and meeting KPIs/national health targets will be a key deliverable for this role.

**About the Team/Service Location**

Based at Wellington Regional Hospital, the Wellington Crisis Resolution Service provides 24/7 clinical, multi-disciplinary assessment, treatment, and care to tāngata whaiora and whānau who are presenting with acute mental health crisis and need intensive support across the Wellington City and Kāpiti-Porirua localities. With more options available to people presenting acutely in the community (i.e. peer support in ED, crisis cafes, and joint agency responses) the Team Leader will be responsible for managing the Co-response and MHAIDS Emergency Department team. The service is also in the process of establishing satellite clinics in Porirua including after-hours at Kenepuru Hospital.

**About you**
- We are looking for the following experience and professional requirements:_

- Working in a way that aligns with the values and service delivery model of the Local Adult Specialist Mental Health and Addiction Service including a commitment to Te Tiriti ō Waitangi and ensuring equitable outcomes for priority populations.
