Tēnei tūranga - About the role
Immigration New Zealand's (INZ) Information Products team plays a key role in shaping the way INZ tells its story to customers and other key stakeholders who engage with the immigration system.

The Manager Information Products is accountable for ensuring the effective design and development of innovative, high-quality, tailored information products that ensure that users of the immigration system are aware of their rights and obligations and are supported to comply.

The role reports to the National Manager Information & Education (I&E) within the Customer Engagement and Education (CEE) branch. I&E consists of three teams with an overall purpose of ensuring INZ’s messages reach their intended audiences - understood and ready for action:

- Digital Channels: creates accessible content to guide customers through their immigration journey
- Immigration Marketing: ensures targeted and relevant messages reach new and existing INZ customers and stakeholders
- Information Products: develops communication products on policies and processes that are accessible to all INZ customers.

The Manager Information Products needs deep experience in the development and production of information products and programmes, and an understanding of the importance of maintaining a strong customer focus in a regulatory environment.

**We want to hear from you if you**:

- Have experience leading a specialist information products function in a large organisation or public sector environment
- Are a strong writer, with well-developed communication skills, including experience in presenting concepts and frameworks to a range of audiences
- Have a strong customer focus and a demonstrated ability to think strategically and laterally about current and future issues, risks and opportunities
- Easily build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Have a proven ability to develop and lead innovative and effective solutions to complex issues
- Can manage time and relationships with others effectively for shared outcomes
- Understand the importance of maintaining a healthy and dynamic team culture
- Can engage in clear sighted planning with experience engaging in process improvement activities
- Have experience in managing finance and resources
