**The opportunity - Te tūranga**

We have a brand-new opportunity as GM Technology Shared Services reporting to the Chief Digital Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for driving and executing TVNZ's strategy and includes responsibility for:

- Setting the technology strategy and leading TVNZ's broadcast and enterprise, functions to deliver on the company's objectives and maintain an optimum operational environment that balances risk and cost efficiency.
- Align the Shared Services strategy and plan with the GM, Digital Technology's plans.
- Ensure consistent technology delivery in line with TVNZ's strategic initiatives and transformation.
- Contribute to TVNZ's goal to be a sustainable business with positive EBITDAF from FY28 and beyond.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for.
- Extensive technology experience in content and ad delivery.
- Solid experience is managing and leading a complex Technology shared services team.
- Wealth of experience in cost efficient technology environments
- Proven ability to influence and lead teams in an environment of competing interests and limited resources.
- Sophisticated internal and external stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability leading large teams.
- Demonstrated commercial and financial management skills and experience.
- Deep and broad knowledge of local and international media is preferred.
- Demonstrated capability to develop and deliver digital content offerings to multiple viewer segments via multiple distribution platforms.
