We are seeking a collaborative and driven Regional Grants Specialist to join our Fundraising team in Auckland on a full time permanent basis.
**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
The Regional Grants Specialist is a key role which focuses on the growth of our Northern region grant funding streams. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on our essential services and develop and deliver our regional fundraising strategy. Key priorities include business development, relationship management and network building, alongside supporting operational teams to achieve our strategic goals.
With a focus on excellent story-led communication, you’ll be responsible for developing, managing, and growing sustainable grant revenue to fund Plunket services and initiatives, as well as the management and compliance of grant funding.

**You will also be/have**:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role with proven successful grant writing experience;
- Exceptional written communication and presentation skills
- An understanding of budgets and financial reports, with the ability to answer stakeholder questions regarding finances;
- Experience using Business Intelligence systems and data management tools to support the development of grant proposals
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to achieve positive outcomes
- The ability to travel when required
