Our Opportunity
Due to an internal promotion, we are searching for a Product Information Specialist to join the team.
In this role you will be responsible for the completion of product information tasks for dairy product change projects to meet product, quality and regulatory requirements driving continuous improvement in accuracy and availability of information to meet internal and external customer requirements.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
Strategic deliverables
- Communication - Effective and timely communication with stakeholders to meet business requirements
- Customer Focus - Drive Hamilton Grant as source of truth for Ingredient, Dairy Product information through user engagement and technical support
- Operational - Product information tasks completed efficiently using understanding of GF business structure, systems and end-to-end processes
- Quality and Regulatory - Drives quality and regulatory compliance for GF Ingredient and Product Information
Technical deliverables
- User access, support and training
- Reporting and provision of data to meet business requirements
- Ingredient and Dairy Product Specification management for Product Change Projects based on requirements specified by Product and Packaging Development Specialists
- Dairy R&D Recipe Management and Technical Artwork Brief generation and review based on requirements specified by Product Development Specialists
**About You**:
We are looking for an individual who has the ambition and desire to start a career with a company delivering to New Zealand some of its most recognisable and well-liked food brands.
Some of the skillsets and experiences we are looking for, include:
- Qualification in Food Technology or Sciences/Food Chemistry/ Chemistry
- An Understanding of Market Regulatory and Food Industry specification requirements
- Knowledge and/or experience in the operation of the dairy industry is highly desired but not essential
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with key stakeholders
- Analytical skills with a high attention to detail
- A systematic approach to problem-solving
- Time management with an ability to manage projects and manage key deadlines
- Experience working with Excel PIF 5, Hamilton Grant and SAP is highly desirable
