**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
- **Part time (0.6 FTE, 24 hours per week), as a Regional Huntington’s Disease Service Nurse Specialist - based at Pt Chevalier**:

- **Supporting our service users to adapt with changes in their abilities and help manage their conditions.**

The Regional Huntington’s Disease Service is based at Auckland City Hospital and is involved with service users and their whānau at the predictive testing, early symptomatic and diagnostic phases as well as people experiencing active disease through to end of life care.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive Mental Health Assessments and develop management plans for our service users and work with/alongside regional services to implement inpatient care for them.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**

You will have a current registration and annual practicing certificate (no conditions on your scope of practice) and full and clean driver’s license.
