Newly created position within an established PMO, driving best practice of Portfolio Management across a diverse South Island business.

**What our client can offer**:
Our client offers one of the largest and most diverse work environments in the South Island. With a established Enterprise PMO, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Portfolio Manager to join and lead within their maturing Portfolio Management practice.

**What you will do**:
With a solid foundation of Portfolio planning and delivery overview practices in place, we are looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to drive improvement in portfolio management capability, working alongside project and change management practices.

We are also looking for this role to drive optimisation of business case and benefits realisation practices, alongside supporting the evolution of the Portfolio and Project Management system.

A newly established position, this is a unique opportunity to join a high quality, growing South Island PMO team with a passion for adding value and driving good practice.

**Skills and experience we are looking for**:
This is a role well suited to an experienced Portfolio Manager looking for that next step. You can expect to gain access to all areas of PMO operation and provide extensive strategic oversight of the Portfolio Management practice. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have
- Proven Portfolio Management experience at an enterprise level
- Very strong customer centricity
- A strong focus on quality and best practice
- Experience working with executive/board level stakeholders
- Experience in the retail/eCommerce domains would be a distinct advantage but not essential
