ANZ’s Data & Marketing team has a vibrant and energetic culture. Our graduates thrive in a changing and challenging environment, which is key to the future success of ANZ.

We have graduate opportunities in three different areas of our team - **Marketing**, **Data**, and **Personalisation **- and we’ll provide opportunities to learn about our function as a whole.

**Marketing**

**Where**:Auckland

**Length of Programme**:18 months

Our Marketing team is responsible for making sure that ANZ remains New Zealand’s leading financial services brand. Through continuous creativity, innovation and growth we’re responsible for all brand and marketing initiatives across the New Zealand business.

- Advertising and communications

- Business-to-business marketing
- Market research
- Digital performance
- Social and SEM
- Product marketing
- Data-driven communications

**What makes a good Marketing Graduate?**

You have a curious mind who always looks for newer, better ways of connecting with customers. You can interpret data and numbers in creative solutions. You can build strong relationships with others and want to learn about customers’ specific needs and how you can help.

We want people who bring fun and energy to their work - whether it’s in a team environment or contributing as an individual. We seek graduates who love new experiences and challenging themselves. Our graduates are passionate about meeting our customers’ needs through creative ideas and deep analysis, whilst also building relationships inside and outside the bank.

While a marketing degree or prior customer-facing experience will make for a competitive applicant, we want to know what makes you tick. At ANZ diversity of thinking and life experience is just as important as academic grades and achievements.

At ANZ, our vision is to be the best at using data to help Kiwis get ahead in their lives. We are a team of 250+ data professionals, building amazing data products and providing services to stakeholders right across our business. This includes:

- Data Engineering & Data Warehousing
- Enterprise Business Intelligence
- Enterprise Analytics (e.g., Data Science)
- Data Governance
- Data Office (Demand Management, Business Partnership, Transformation, Communications)
- Data Strategy & Planning
- Marketing Automation Technologies

**What makes a good Data Graduate?**

You have curious and analytical minds that can organize, engineer and interpret data and numbers, pick up trends and make informed recommendations. You can build strong working relationships and want to learn about customers’ specific needs and how you can help through data analysis. You will be confident in explaining what data means to other people, a storyteller who is comfortable sharing ideas. You are passionate about data and bring fun and energy to your work - a team player who enjoys working with others.

We’re looking for ‘dataphiles’. If you want to work with the biggest datasets in the largest data team in NZ with access to ‘tier 1’ data, then you’ll love seeing how those cool tools are used in the real world.
