**He aha te mahi? What's the role?**:
The Finance Master Data Coordinator (FMDC) is a global position, reporting directly to the Master Data Manager. You will be responsible for the day to day monitoring of master data creation and maintenance. This role will have a specific focus on how we manage our business partners (customers and suppliers), through the validation and enrichment of requests to ensure it meets business requirements.

The FMDC will provide support to stakeholders in Zespri master data systems (e.g. Syniti), support may be in the form of;
- SME for Finance Masterdata
- Primary point of contact for the business in issue resolution Providing training on tools to wider Zespri business and internally within Finance**Master Data**
- Process business requests for the establishment and maintenance of business partners as per standard Zespri process
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for global business partner master data setup to ensure the correct Supplier and Customer roles are being assigned and used correctly
- Provide advice to business units of rules, guidelines and approach to management of business partners
- Responsible for resolving escalations and exceptions in master data management processes
- Manage escalations or queries from other business units when related to Business Partners not managed with Finance (e.g. Growers)
- Perform data quality monitoring, cleansing and enrichment tasks
- Build relationships with key business stakeholders to support the continuous improvement of our processes and quality of data
- Perform mass maintenance of business partners as required by the business
- Contribute to the definition of key performance indicators (e.g. data quality and process management)
- Support the development of training material and delivery of training to end users
- Provide back-up to other Finance Systems and Master Data team members
- Maintenance of key master data for FlexiPurchase processes Manage the build of the connections with credit card providers into FlexiPurchase**Finance Systems and Master Data team**
- Contribute to identifying opportunities to improve our processes and ensure they are efficient, effective and meet expectations
- Maintenance of process documentation associated with tasks performed by the Finance Systems and Master Data team
- Manage the external banking portals used within Zespri by Treasury and Accounts Payable
- Assist the wider Finance team with clearing backlogs of work
- Assist with other Finance tasks as and when required
- Participate in all team meetings and other functional events

You will meet the following selection criteria:

- Experience in functional financial systems role directly supporting end users
- Familiarity with master data processes
- Preferably with a background in finances or payment processing related experience
