The Role

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.
- Be client facing lead consulting structural engineer, that is detail focused with strong local experience
- Lead and be a part of teams that undertake and perform design and analysis of concrete/steel buildings structures of bespoke and diverse nature.
- Assist in the supervision and guidance of younger engineers and overview design calculations and details of the other engineers and drafters.
- Assist in the development of emerging talent.
- Deliver design documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports in accordance with Aurecon and Client quality standards.
- Provide construction phase support on a wide array of projects and structural types.
- Ability to work on fast paced design and construct projects and pursuits.

What we are looking for:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and structural Engineering, or the like, and has achieved or can demonstrate a pathway to becoming chartered and/or obtaining RBP status.
- Proven industry experience.
- Experience working on large-scale multi-disciplinary projects.
- Commercial, Health and/or Education sector experience (new build and refurbishment).
- Strong technical skills in complex structural analysis for bespoke structural designs.
- Experience with Etabs, Safe and Strand7 FEA software packages will be advantageous.
- Parametric modelling using tools such as Dynamo and/or Grasshopper will be advantageous.
