**About the role**
The Head of Laboratory and Testing Services is a strategic leadership role responsible for unifying all YOBD internal and external Laboratory and Testing functions, including analytical services, under a single strategic owner. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, accurate, and timely results while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. It includes ownership of the laboratory strategy and LIMs (Laboratory Information Management System).

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Stakeholder Engagement

**Skills and Experience**
- Bachelor's or master's degree in laboratory science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
- Proven experience in laboratory operations, with several years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing teams and laboratory budgets.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality systems.
- Contract / or management of multiple external labs supplying testing services
- Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ability to lead change and drive innovation.
