**About the opportunity**:
Become a part of our client's growing team They are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Takapuna office and provide leadership and day-to-day management within the Civil/Land Development engineering team. **Responsibilities will include**:

- Actively contribute to the effective operation of the Civil/Land Development team
- Working with Technical Director and the Civil/Land Development engineering team by maintaining and growing client relationships
- Provide intelligence on market developments and sector opportunities
- Facilitate growth through the execution of profitable project work and the generation of new revenue for the Civil/Land Development engineering team
- Understand and manage commercial risk through project-specific offers of services that recognise the complexity of the projects and the commercial standing and industry experience of the client
- Prepare and lead client presentations and/or proposals
- Actively monitor overall performance of projects within the team to ensure client outcomes are achieved
- Work collaboratively with others to deliver a consistent service offering across the business

**This role will suit someone with all or some following background/experience/qualities**:

- 8+ years of experience as an Engineer
- Leadership qualities and a drive for success
- Ideally, you are already Chartered, or very near
- Self-motivated
