Auckland City, New Zealand DPL Insurance Full time

DPL Insurance Limited is part of the Turners Automotive Group and we are currently looking for an experienced Parts Procurement Specialist to join our busy Claims Team based in our Northcote offices.

In this role, you will be responsible for the sourcing and ordering of automotive parts, negotiating costs while providing excellent customer service at all times and ensuring all parts requests are met in a timely manner.

In addition, duties will include:

- Maintaining client records
- Handling all parts related queries;
- Communicating with suppliers & workshops;
- Undertaking motor vehicle registration checks when required;
- Providing back up assistance to Claims Assessors with administrative tasks & phone calls etc as needed.

You will be highly motivated, with a proven track record of outstanding customer service, a sound knowledge of automotive parts and a strong desire to achieve. You will also be proficient in using online computer systems and have the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Automotive Trade qualified (preferred);
- Previous experience in the automotive claims industry along with strong procurement expertise;
- Outstanding communication and sound negotiation skills;
- Good numerical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Logical/rational thinking and problem solving skills.
