**About the Role**
We are seeking an energetic professional with a diverse skill set to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to join our team as our Communication & Events Specialist. In this integral role you will provide support to our Chief Executive across several areas critical to our success.

Event planning and coordination will be a key focus and you will successfully manage the Hydrogen Council’s events including functions, training events and the Hydrogen Council Summit. Improving public awareness around the production and use of low emission hydrogen in New Zealand will be a crucial part of the role. Based in the Queenstown Lakes area, this is a 35 hour/week role where you will work from home.

**About You**
Communications-savvy with an eye for detail, you’ll have the ability to create exciting, accurate content across all media platforms, successfully targeting a range of audiences. Outstanding organisation and time management skills are a must, and you’ll have prior successful event planning and coordination experience. You’ll be able to effectively prioritise competing tasks and handle pressure, so you’ll remain unflappable in the face of tight timeframes.

A strong level of computer literacy and competence across related business and communication tools will be required. You’ll also be able to operate discreetly, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring a high level of professionalism in your communication with stakeholders.
