Your core tasks will include but are not limited to:

- Take complete responsibility of the restaurant operations which includes food safety, staff training, rosters, building sales and controlling wastage and costs.
- Planning menus in consultation with Chefs
- Organising and Planning for special functions
- Maintaining records of stock levels and Financial transactions
- Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget.
- Deal and Negotiate with suppliers, implement methods to reduce cost to company.
- Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.
- Selecting, training, and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
- Maintaining and Preparing appropriate records, implementing methods to reduce costs to company.
- May take reservations, greet guests, and assist in taking orders.
- Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

- Minimum 2 years experience in hospitality industry.
- LCQ & Manager Certificate.
- Qualification in Business Management or a Bechlelor's Degree in any field
- Effective management skills.
- Flexible to work daily split shifts (Lunch & dinner) and weekends where required.
- High level of customer service with sound knowledge of food market.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residence or a Valid NZ Work visa.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
