**About the role**

We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals who will be responsible for:
General parks and grounds maintenance including (but not limited to): mowing, weed eating, and basic mechanical maintenance of plants. Upholding quality standards and ensuring that the grounds are well presented at all times are key parts of the job.

**Typical day to day tasks will include**:

- Working in a team maintaining the upkeep all outdoor spaces.
- Lawn maintenance, use of both ride on and push mowers.
- Ensure all storage areas are clean, secure, and tidy and that all equipment used is kept in safe operating condition with regular maintenance.
- Ensure equipment and chemicals are used in accordance with H&S guidelines and processes and ensure the use of PPE as appropriate.
- Provide a friendly, safe and homely environment for all residents and staff in the homes.
- Undertake specific or ad hoc maintenance and gardening projects as required, which may call for some flexibility around working hours or duties as requested by the employer.
