**About you**:

- Valve servicing experience. E.g. testing, overhauling, maintenance etc (Essential)
- Can-do attitude and willingness to learn (Essential)
- Mechanically minded (Essential)
- A demonstrated commitment to safety (Essential)
- Mechanical trade qualification (Desirable)
- Oil and gas industry experience (Desirable)
- Machining experience (Desirable)

**About the Role**:
In this role, you may be responsible for:

- Testing Pressure safety valves, general valves and control valves and actuators
- Strip and QA of Pressure safety valves, general valves and control valves and actuators
- Refurbishment and assembly of Pressure safety valves, general valves and control valves and actuators
- Control valve diagnostics and calibration
- Reading and understanding P&ID’s, general isometrics and schematic drawings
- General workshop machining duties and on-site flange facing
- Completing paperwork and on occasion generating inspection reports and test certificates
- Shutdown work on client sites or in the workshop
