**The Role**

The Better Drinks Co is on the look out for our next Sales Cadet This entry level role is your perfect step in to a Sales Career. We are looking for someone who can wear two hats - merchandising guru and sales rep cadet.it really is the best of both worlds

On a day to day basis you will be visiting and merchandising supermarkets, covering the **South East Auckland** region. You will be undertaking merchandising duties, which include building and maintaining displays, shelf presence in store and ensuring all of our product is ticketed and priced correctly.

You will be driving between a number of customers in a day, so we’ll be providing you with a company vehicle.

This is a great opportunity to join our team and has excellent progression opportunities into our Field Sales roles.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Merchandising and activating promotional plans with customers
- Stocking shelves and chillers, stock rotation, building product displays and ticketing
- Ensuring compliance to our sales agreements, on-shelf positioning and new product ranging
- Delivering on negotiated incremental activity
- Building strong relationships with customers
- Working closely with aligned territory manager identifying joint growth opportunities within stores
- Managing product tastings in stores, including full set up, customer engagement and driving sales

You’ll be someone who is willing to get stuck in and make a difference for our customers. Your organisational skills will keep you on top of your game, and you’ll be a real team player who is a reliable support to our Territory Managers.

The ‘must haves’:

- You’ll also need a full, clean NZ Driver’s Licence
- You’ll also need to hold the right to work in New Zealand
- The job is a physical one - so you’ll need to be able to safely lift product cases up to 12kg on a repeated basis
- Early starts, a lot of our work is done instore before they open
