**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

As the Procurement Support Coordinator, you will proactively support the business in delivery of projects and business priorities. This is executed through a centralised model working collaboratively with the wider procurement team to provide high quality support to our stakeholders.

The role provides an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, high performing team environment contributing to the delivery of some significant projects for Auckland.
- Provide specialist advice and solutions to the business on all aspects of contract documentation and SAP purchase to pay processes
- Facilitate the contract formation process to ensure contracts are executed in a timely manner to meet programme of work
- Responsible for documentation and compliance of procurements that they are in accordance with Auckland Transport policies and process requirements
- Provide support and financial assistance to ensure contract renewals and variations are processed in a timely manner and there is adequate documentation to support the decision
- Responsible for the contract payment process that Buyer Created Tax Invoices accurately reflect the claim provided for all Auckland Transport construction and maintenance contracts and are paid within contractual timeframes
- Manage time to ensure deadlines are met and professionally respond to customer queries within agreed parameters
- Identify and continuously endeavour to improve systems and processes

- Experience in SAP
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time whilst still meeting deadlines
- Highly customer focused and builds effective relationship
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong financial capability with an in-depth knowledge of purchase to pay process
- A good understanding of the workings and functions of central or local government
