Melbourne Lodge in Central Queenstown and are currently looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor / Housekeeping person.

Pay Rate: $29 - 30per hour

Would prefer:

- experience in housekeeping minimum 1 - 2 years
- applicant should have a valid work visa
- Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
Monitor and replenish housekeeping amenities including soap, shampoo,
toilet paper etc.
Ordering linen and towels on daily basis
Participate in large cleaning projects as required
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas
Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers, countertops, and sinks
Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
Making beds and changing linens
Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning
tools
Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
Oversee staff on a daily basis
Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for
cleanliness
Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach
and rubber gloves
Participate in large cleaning projects as required
