**The role**

We’re looking for a **Senior Commercial Underwriter** to join our Schemes team and help us grow our Schemes portfolio in smart, sustainable ways.

As a Schemes Underwriter, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our delegated authority scheme business. You’ll be trusted to:

- Underwrite new business, renewals and referrals in line with our underwriting appetite and portfolio goals
- Partner with our brokers to deliver exceptional service and uphold SLAs
- Spot trends and opportunities to strengthen our schemes portfolio
- Bring your technical know-how to the team — sharing insights, supporting colleagues, and helping build capability across Ando
- Champion Ando’s values and ethical approach in everything you do

**Qualifications and experience**

Around 4+ years’ experience in general insurance, with strong technical underwriting skills

- A solid understanding of the regulatory and legislative landscape
- Experience building strong relationships with brokers and partners
- Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail
- A collaborative mindset, willingness to share knowledge, and the confidence to make sound decisions

- ANZIIF qualifications (Cert/Dip) will be highly regarded, and so will a passion for learning and growing your career.
