**About your role**
As a Senior Underwriter in our Liability team, you'll provide technical underwriting expertise (PIDO and Casualty) that supports the underwriting of broker portfolios and renewal retention and initiatives for securing new business. You'll provide commercially sound, profitable underwriting solutions that will ensure growth in your allocated portfolio. This includes support of underwriting guidelines and monitoring overall portfolio performance and identifying additional and new business opportunities within the portfolio. You'll also contribute to the wider Business team and be responsible for contributing to continual process improvement and identifying up sell and cross sell opportunities within the wider Liability team.
**About you**
To hit the ground running you will have in-depth PIDO and Casualty liability underwriting experience, with a passion for underwriting liability risks. You'll be adept at relationship management at a senior level and have existing, strong relationships within the broker market. You are success oriented and thrive on achieving challenging objectives and delivering excellence. You also work effectively as part of a team and have an ability to focus on the needs of both internal and external customers.
