Reporting to the Head of Operational Risk NZ, a rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Manager Operational Risk Frameworks, to take responsibility for:

- Supporting the delivery of governance and oversight of all relevant Operational Risk Frameworks across the region of Australia and New Zealand. This includes the development of relevant policies, standards, procedures and tools as well as governance over applicable 1st Line and 2 Line owned Operational Risk Frameworks.
- Collaborating with the Operational Risk teams in both Australia and NZ to ensure that the requirements of the Operational Risk Frameworks appropriately address each country’s needs.
- Contributing to the effective oversight and challenge over the implementation, execution and effectiveness by the 1st Line in Rabobank Australia and New Zealand of the management of Operational Risk including related Operational Risk Frameworks as set out in the Risk Management Strategy. This includes the identification and assessment of operational risks and controls, risk and control indicators, findings & actions, as well as incidents within the 1st Line.
- Providing insightful analysis and interpretation of risks to the applicable Rabobank Risk Management Committees.

To thrive in the role, you’ll have a background gained in financial services, with focus on controls, auditing, operational risk or process engineering. You will also bring:

- Solid understanding of operational Risk Management within the financial services industry and related regulatory standards (Basel II and ideally APRA Prudential Standards)
- A sound knowledge of causes, influences and drivers of operational risk
- A strong commercial acumen
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to positively influence and collaborate well with others
- A Post-graduate qualification (preference for MBA/CA) or similar post-graduate knowledge
