**Clinical Coach - Intensive Care Unit**

**Fixed Term, Part-time**

**40 hours per fortnight (0.5FTE) - rostered shifts**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Coach.

The suitable applicant will have:

- At least 5 years clinical experience working in the Intensive Care setting, with evidence of practising at an Expert level, (current level 4 PDRP)
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical ventilation, CRRT, invasive and non-invasive monitoring, and previous paediatric experience are essential
- Proven ability to teach in the clinical setting is also required, including evidence of completion of an approved Preceptor course

The successful applicant will work alongside junior and new nursing staff in ICU, supporting them to manage critically ill patients, and developing their skills through from Novice to Expert. The position is scoped as a Registered Nurse role, and is part-time, with the expectation of working across AM and PM shifts to cover staff learning needs.

The Clinical Coach will be supported by the Clinical Nurse Educator and will assist with rolling out new policies and procedures, support practice changes, and support staff with new equipment.
