Head of Product Operations

While the world of business travel is changing, we’re preparing companies for this with intelligent technology that helps them ensure the continued safety and wellbeing of their travelers. **Requirements**: The mission of the Head of Product Operations is to define and grow the craft and science of product management with a focus on building practices, capability and tooling in experimentation and data decision-making. **What you will be doing** - Enable teams by designing and maintaining and effective product tech stack; drive adoption and mastery with product practitioners. - Provide functional expertise in the coaching and development of Product Managers at all professional levels - Step-change internal and cross-functional collaboration. Remove friction by building capability, embedding tools and leading the continual improve of process processes to maximise our efficiency. - Provide functional expertise on the product lifecycle, definitions and roadmaps - Preparing, presenting and implementing business cases for new product features and ideas - Developing OKRs and driving outcomes - Ensuring quality product delivery across the function - Creating and maintaining a centralised view of product roadmaps, strategic objectives and initiatives across the value streams, aligned with the overall business strategy - Consult to the product managers and marketing team to develop go-to-market plans - Working with the product managers to define and monitor product launch readiness and success metrics - Providing product communication to a wide variety of audiences including customers, senior management, internal groups and internal departments **What you will bring** - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative approach and strong relationship building skills. - Ability to influence across an organisation up to and including Executive audiences - Experience and passion for growing, developing and guiding people and teams - Ability to work in an agile manner and adapt to organisation change - Proven experience building the craft and science of product management in organisations, including experimentation and data fluency. - Demonstrated customer obsession and track record of building succession product portfolios **Benefits** Serko has a culture where our people bring their whole selves to work, where we believe that inclusion & diversity make us better. - A competitive base salary and opportunity to take part in our employee incentive share scheme, kiwisaver (or global equivalent) and life insurance - Flexible and hybrid working arrangements, where you get to choose how to best structure your day and week so you can be at your best - A focus on both wellbeing and doing, including: - Wellbeing & volunteer days, focused meeting free time - Discounted Southern Cross health insurance (NZ), free flu shots, and access to a confidential support, guidance and counselling service - Enhanced parental leave including - 20 weeks on full pay for the primary caregiver - Three weeks paid Partner Leave - Support for the Primary Caregiver transitioning back to work after leave - work 3 days and paid 5 days for the first month back to work - Access to travel industry discounts
