We’re set to transform both our business and our IT team and are on the lookout for someone to take on this awesome opportunity as **Senior DevOps Engineer** based at our Albany Support Centre.

**Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you’ll be responsible for but not limited to: -**
- Build the Mitre 10 DevOps engineering practice and coach engineering and development teams on best practice.
- Own, build and run the Mitre 10 DevOps toolchain across all cloud environment and platforms.
- Oversee all code change through the automation of deployment through the toolchain.
- Drive transformation through shifting or refactoring system from an IaaS environment through to delivering services through infrastructure as code.
- Responsible for managing and testing IT operational and change non-functional requirements in projects and change.
- Involved in planning and prioritising work backlog for the team, including project, BAU and other work.

**To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with; -**
- Solid IT experience (8+ years) including 2+ years in architecture
- Experience within environments that offer a mix of Agile and waterfall methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of Web Technologies, Full Stack Development, Rest Webservices, OWASP guidelines, Bamboo, Git and other development tools and productivity tools
- Strong experience and knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure is desired
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as BASH, Python, Ruby, PowerShell
- Strong grasp of networking, security, and reliability fundamentals
- Experience and a fundamental understanding of CICD practices and Agile methodologies
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as BOSH, Terraform and CloudFormation
