**The Role**:
Our Services Engineering Team is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer and you could be it

With our business moving into a continuously evolving work environment, we are looking for engineers that can contribute with an innovative mindset to increase the capabilities of our DevOps team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide expert technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability and scalability
- Review and continuously improve our documentation, ensuring patterns, decisions and environment infrastructure are captured accurately, well-articulated, and easily consumed
- Advocate engineering best-practices and modern approaches to software delivery, supporting IAG’s Agile, DevOps, and Product Ownership journeys.
- Advocate beyond your immediate team to implement continuous improvement initiatives that benefit all IAG Technology staff
- Orchestrate knowledge transfer sessions with fellow Engineers and other stakeholders both internally and externally
- Assist the leadership team to groom the backlog of issues and initiatives

**Skills & Experience**:

- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or relevant experience in a similar field
- Working knowledge of Agile Methodologies
- Extensive experience with Azure Cloud PaaS services (e.g., App Service, Cosmos DB, Application Gateway, API Management, Application Insights, Alerts & Monitors, Subscription policies, etc.)
- Strong Azure DevOps Service experience (e.g., YAML build & release pipelines, CI/CD controls, etc.)
- Good understanding of networking in a cloud environment (e.g., CDN & WAF, Network Security Groups and Cloud Firewalls, certificates management)
- Strong PowerShell development & automation skills
- Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code principals
- Experience building scalable enterprise-wide CI/CD solutions & implementing CI/CD code quality controls
- Good understanding of microservice & event driven architectures
- A high level of technical currency, supported by active participation in industry forums and a growth mindset
