Mana Awhi-Older Peoples’ Health are committed to the delivery of sustainable, high quality healthcare with a key focus on developing and supporting clinical teams through a culture of safety and excellence. We have an exciting new opportunity for you to join us and make a real difference in our service in the role of Clinical Nurse Coordinator.

In this role you will be
- Providing senior leadership to the wards within Mana Awhi after hours (afternoons and weekends)
- Helping support the ward co-ordinators with efficient patient flow, safe staffing and clinical support
- Working collaboratively with the Charge Nurses and Nurse Unit Manager
- You will be key in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of clinical nursing care to patients and their whānau
- On a daily basis you will be demonstrating clinical and professional leadership, leading and supporting nursing teams in all aspects of nursing care management within their wards.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**

We need Nurses to help us support our people within Mana Awhi.
- Hold a RGN; RGON; RPN; RCpN with or without BN or BHSc (Nursing)
- Hold a current NZ Nursing Council Annual Practicing Certificate
- Minimum Level 3 practice or minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Health of Older Adults
- You will have proven management skills and a commitment to continually improve the quality of care provided at an operational level.
