We are looking for a Commercial Sales Specialist specialising in building and construction sales to join our team in Tauranga.

**The role**

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Waste Management’s building and construction customers across the Bay of Plenty region. You will work across all aspects of the sales process from the tender stage through to negotiating prices and contracts and developing new business to increase revenue growth. The role also involves crafting innovative solutions to ensure resource recovery, safe disposal, and sustainable outcomes for the customer.

**About you**

To be successful in this role:
You will have proven experience in key account management and be a proven sales hunter who has a strong background in sales development in the construction industry and can demonstrate strategic planning and solid negotiation skills.

You are commercially savvy and able to align solutions to customer needs, you results-driven, self-motivated and have a sound understanding of B2B sales processes.

A building industry, waste or recycling sales background is preferable but not essential.

If you have a successful track record in sales, coupled with a strong ability to develop long-term client relationships then this could be the opportunity for you
