What we are looking for:
Digital Media is part of the global brand and marketing team at Xero. We are a crucial element driving Xero’s business performance.

SEO is a key driver for acquiring site visitation, new customers and ultimately driving Xero’s business performance. Sitting within the Digital Team, you will play a key role in driving Xero’s business performance. You will be instrumental in growing our subscriber base through a mix of content programmes and initiatives, to support the acquisition and growth of direct small business subscribers and Accountant and Bookkeeper partners through organic search.

You will be part of an experienced, fifty+ strong global digital team who manage digital advertising, SEO, Analytics, Onsite Optimisation, Dev & Design, Engineering and a variety of other related digital marketing projects.

You will make an impact by accelerating Xero’s growth through excellence in SEO planning and optimisation, and proactive collaboration with regional and global marketing teams to deliver great work.

**What you’ll do**:

- End to end management of our SEO and content marketing initiatives. This will include:

- Leading SEO projects - from strategy planning, through to implementation and performance monitoring
- Identifying new opportunities to drive growth through organic search
- Supporting global and regional marketing teams to drive growth and achieve marketing success through excellence in SEO
- Using performance data and competitive insights to develop an offsite strategy to support SEO efforts
- Monitor performance, and stay on top of industry trends and algorithm changes - then share insights and help stakeholders to understand and act on them

**What you’ll bring**:

- Ideally 4 years + of SEO experience, including experience with Core Web Vitals, E-A-T and other recent SEO developments
- Degree or equivalent
- Extensive experience with SEO performance tracking tools, Google Analytics and Search Console
