We're currently looking for a passionate and highly motivated Registered Nurse to take on the role of Senior Nurse. In this position, you'll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality healthcare and improving outcomes for patients with Endocrine and Sarcoma cancers.
Your role will involve collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and services to ensure patients receive prompt access to cancer care and the best treatment options. Leveraging your leadership, critical thinking, clinical knowledge, and communication skills, you'll build strong relationships with staff across various departments to:
- Lead the enhancement of the cancer care pathway through interdisciplinary cooperation.
- Identify and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the experience and outcomes for patients with Endocrine and Sarcoma cancers.
- Provide education and clinical instruction.
To be considered for this role, you should have at least 5 years of post-registration experience, ideally in Oncology, Orthopaedics and/or Endocrinology, and have achieved RN Level 4 or an equivalent qualification. You should also have a strong reputation for excellence and either hold or be actively pursuing postgraduate qualifications in Health Science/Nursing.
Your work schedule will need to include Tuesdays and Thursdays each week, as well as Fridays on a monthly basis, to ensure your availability for clinics and multi-disciplinary meetings.
