**SECURITY GUARD EXPERIENCED x 2**

- South City Mall and Barrington Mall

- Both vacancies Permanent, Part Time

We have two Security Guard roles become available, based at either South City Mall, City or Barrington Mall, Barrington.

In this role you will have a mature outlook as you are providing a professional security presence and will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for our customers and employees as well as supporting the Centre Management team in all areas of risk.

Primary duties and responsibilities include patrolling and monitoring premises, providing a customer friendly and professional security presence, maintaining vigilance, and acting in a swift and calm manner when required. You will always maintain the highest integrity and honesty and be able to work as part of a team. You will possess exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, as you must be understood by the team across the RT.

**Position One - South City Mall, City**:

- Friday 10.15am-7.15pm
- Saturday 9.15am-7.15pm
- Sunday 10.15am-7.15pm

OR

**Position Two - Barrington Mall, Barrington**:

- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 2.15pm-6.15pm

You must be available for all rostered shifts.

**You must have**:

- A current COA (Certificate of Approval)
- First Aid Certificate is preferred (completion could be arranged by Management for the right person)
- A high level of fitness - both vacancies are physically demanding - you will be on your feet throughout your shift
- Great verbal and written communication
- Medium Level Computing Skills
- CCTV Camera Training preferred but not essential
- Have reliable transport to get to and from site reliably

Passing a Ministry of Justice Criminal History Check is essential, along with valid working rights in New Zealand.
