We have a professional Security Guard role become available, based at one of our leading retail shopping centers in the Hornby area.

In this role you will have a mature outlook as you are providing a professional security presence and will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for our customers and employees as well as supporting the Centre Management team in all areas of risk.
Primary duties and responsibilities include patrolling and monitoring premises, providing a customer friendly and professional security presence, maintaining vigilance, and acting in a swift and calm manner when required. You will always maintain the highest integrity and honesty and be able to work as part of a team. You will possess exceptional communication skills both written and verbal as you must be understood by the team across the RT.
Shift timetable:
Monday, Thursday & Friday 9am - 5pm
Saturday 3.15pm-10.15pm
Sunday 10am - 5pm
Tuesday and Wednesday are your Rostered days off.

You must have:

- First Aid Certificate is preferred (completion could be arranged by Management for the right person).
- A high level of fitness - this is a physically demanding position - You will be on your feet throughout your entire shift.
- Great verbal and written communication.
- Medium Level Computing Skills.
- CCTV Camera Training preferred but not essential.
- Have reliable transport to get to and from site reliably.

Passing a Ministry of Justice Criminal History Check is essential, along with valid working rights in New Zealand.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.10 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
