**The opportunity**:
Toitū Tahua: Centre for Sustainable Finance is seeking an experienced communications professional to change the national narrative around the transformation of our financial system.

**Our purpose**:
The Centre exists to accelerate progress toward a sustainable, equitable, inclusive financial system by 2030.

**About you**:
You are confident and committed to driving a national sustainable finance agenda in close collaboration with leaders and influencers in the financial sector, government and media.

You are a journalism or business communications practitioner with experience in:

- ESG, climate change, sustainable finance and/or sustainable business communications
- Copywriting and content development
- Communications and campaign strategy and delivery
**About the role**:
The purpose of this role is to create momentum around the initiatives of Toitū Tahua, our collaborators and others working toward a sustainable financial system. You will work closely with the CEO and Partnerships Associate to raise the profile of Toitū Tahua and leaders in Sustainable Finance.

**You will**:

- Co-design and deliver communications campaigns aimed at influencing regulatory, policy and practice changes in both public and private sectors
- Develop and maintain the content platforms of Toitū Tahua so they are a credible destination of choice for public and private sector finance professionals
- Create and deliver thought leadership in collaboration with our extended network of partners
- Recommend and deliver communications strategies and plans to enable our initiatives
- Create and deliver content and communications assets to enable our initiatives
- Work closely with advisors to effectively engage with media, government and other key stakeholder groups
- Manage ongoing media partnerships
- Work closely with our Partnerships Associate to deliver high visibility and high impact events
**You will develop and deliver effective**:

- Communications and brand platforms, content, assets
- Solid working relationships with key media, government officials and influencers
- External communications, advocacy and campaign strategies
- Events and speaking opportunities
- Stakeholders relationships and collaborations

- Iwi & Māori relations

This is a full time, flexible role ideally (but not necessarily) based out of Auckland or Wellington.
