The Walt Disney Company New Zealand is looking for an energetic and passionate marketing professional to join our Auckland based team as the Content Marketing Executive for Marvel and Lucasfilm. You’ll be the biggest champion of the Marvel and Lucasfilm brands as you bring to life marketing campaigns for movies like ‘Thor: Love & Thunder’ and ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’; and original Disney+ streaming series like ‘The Mandalorian’ and ‘Loki’.

This position reports into the Content Marketing Manager - Marvel & Lucasfilm, and is a robust role working across the entire marketing mix. Utilising your experience in media-planning, creative development and asset management, you’ll work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver first-in-class marketing campaigns, adapting global strategy and creative to suit our local market.

Keeping up-to-date with the latest digital and social marketing trends, you’ll find innovative ways to reach new customers and smash commercial goals. You’re also a team player who is happy to roll up your sleeves and support the wider team with trade marketing, local events, third-party promotions, and influencer partnerships.

**Responsibilities**:Marketing
- Execute the NZ marketing campaigns for Marvel & Lucasfilm releases across Theatrical and Disney+
- Input into the media planning process for allocated campaigns as directed by NZ Content Marketing Manager
- Oversee end to end marketing execution on selected campaigns as allocated by Content Marketing Manager
- Review ANZ + Global creative materials making recommendations on which are best suited to be selected, developed and localised
- Partner with AU Content Marketing team and creative agencies to ensure NZ creative requirements are delivered against on time, every time and to budget
- Analyse ANZ Owned Social campaigns whilst making recommendations to Content Marketing Manager for when NZ specific activity may be warranted
- As required support local TWDC events and activations across allocated brand portfolio
- Support the NZ Content PR Team to manage local screenings / premieres / junkets
- Create materials and presentations to be utilised for promotional partnership pitches
- Execute marketing plans & creative that arise from local promotional partnerships
- Create materials and presentations to be utilised for Exhibitor planning meetings and marketing pitches
- Work closely with the Studio Distribution & AU Trade Marketing teams to execute best in class marketing initiatives across NZ Exhibition
- Understand how Disney+ awareness marketing campaigns should consistently dovetail into Performance Marketing and Lifecyle plans

Champion the Marvel & Lucasfilm brands
- Be a brand and title expert, collating & sharing essential knowledge with the wider NZ Content Marketing Team
- As appropriate share knowledge & insights with the agencies / partners / Exhibition Team &
Stakeholder Management
- Reports to and is accountable to NZ Content Marketing Manager (Marvel, Lucasfilm & Searchlight Pictures)
- Close Collaboration in NZ and AU teams

Budget Management
- Allocate and track spend to agreed budget levels
- Optimise marketing spend via effective Owned / Earned / Bought media strategies
- Timely management of purchase orders and invoice processing for suppliers / partners
**Basic Qualifications**:

- Proven marketing experience (Min 3+ years) across the disciplines
- Media planning, creative development, promotions, digital and social
- Movie, Streaming, Entertainment or Media marketing experience preferred
- Proven ability to execute multiple marketing plans to tight deadlines
- Proven delivery of innovation and value-add initiatives to the business
- Social & Digital Marketing native
- Marketing budget management
- Proficient in Photoshop preferred, but not essential
**Required Education**:

- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline
