Rosedale, New Zealand Freaky burger and tacos Full time

We are looking for Cooks for our store in Rosedale - Freaky Burger and Tacos who shall be responsible for the below duties:

- Assisting the chef in preparation of burgers or tacos from the menu.
- Assisting the chef in preparation of food by washing, cutting, measuring, mixing foods for cooking
- Ensure that food items are cooked thoroughly and according to health standards.
- Monitoring inventory and placing orders for more supplies as needed.
- Ensure that all utensils and cooking equipment are sterilized before each use.
- Regulating the temperature of all kitchen/cooking equipment i.e. ovens, grills, fryers, chillers, etc.
- Cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils.
- Disposing of expired or spoiled ingredients at the end of each shift.
- Following food handling procedures.
- Presenting or packaging food products.
- Ensuring utensils are kept clean at all times.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the chef or the management.

You will be required to work for a **minimum of 30 hours per week**.

- Attention to detail
- Physically fit to stand for a longer duration.

- Hardworking and passionate individual

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability
