We have an amazing secondment opportunity at an Assistant Crown Counsel level in the System Advice team, in the System Leadership Group (SLG), supporting the Solicitor-General's leadership of the Government Legal Network (GLN).
Te whiwhinga mahi - The opportunity
Crown Law wishes to offer a secondment opportunity for a lawyer from the Government Legal Network with three to five years experience. This is a one year secondment.
Based in the System Advice team, you will be a part of the Solicitor-General's leadership of the Government Legal Network. Led by the Solicitor-General with the support of all government lawyers, the GLN's ambition is to ensure government has access to timely, focused legal services.
In this role you will contribute to all the work of the System Advice team. You will help write advice on a variety of topics. You will support senior counsel prepare risk reports to the Attorney-General. And you will contribute to the implementation of the Government Legal Services Strategy.
We are looking for someone who has a broad interest in the law and is keen to contribute to the Government Legal Network. You have strong legal research and analysis skills, attention to detail and you love learning. You will have the opportunity to build your relationship skills by addressing the needs of a wide group of clients/stakeholders.
