Within
the Te Whatu Ora Health NZ Waitaha Canterbury, our Gastroenterology Department
provides comprehensive secondary and tertiary level inpatient, and outpatient
services to Canterbury and locations throughout the South Island. This
department leads and manages the National Bowel Screening Programme (NBSP).
We
are looking for an experienced Front of House Administrator to join the
Gastroenterology Department, where you will be supporting a multi-disciplinary
team. This role will be based at reception and therefore you will be required
to welcoming tūroro (patients) and their whānau. This role is a permanent, full
time role, requiring you to work between Monday and Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.
In
**this role, you will be responsible for**:
- Front of house
duties
- Welcoming tūroro
(patients) and their whānau
- Coordinating and
managing tūroro (patient) bookings
- Managing bookings
- Managing the
patient management system
- Other ad hoc

Your

administration or reception roles
- Computer skills
(Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

under pressure to meet required deadlines
- Understanding of
bi-culturalism and health inequalities
- Experience using
a Patient Management System would be an advantage, however full training
