**About the Role**:
This is your chance to step into a position where you’ll be central to shaping a positive and engaging workplace culture. You will have the opportunity to help employees grow, support people leaders, and improve HR practices to drive employee engagement. You will be a crucial part of the ANZ HR team, providing HR advice for the NZ business across a diverse range of HR initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and is looking to make a meaningful impact.
- Provide strategic HR support for people leaders across the business with a range of HR generalist activities including talent development, recruitment, reporting, remuneration reviews, learning and development, employee engagement, DEIB initiatives, wellbeing and change management.
- Provide HR guidance and ER coaching to managers including supporting through performance improvement plans and disciplinary processes ensuring alignment with current employment laws and business requirements.
- Provide HR support to operational teams at our Distribution Centre, ensuring seamless integration of HR practices and addressing specific workforce challenges to maintain productivity and efficiency.
- Assist with HR reporting and analytics to provide insights and support with decision-making, as well as reviewing and updating policies with a compliance and risk management focus.
- Drive key strategic HR initiatives and projects, both within NZ and as a part of the broader ANZ team, with a focus on continuous improvement and adding value to the business.
**What experience do you bring?**
- Degree in Human Resources or a related field and at least 2-3 years of generalist HR experience ideally at an advisory level.
- Good knowledge and understanding of NZ employment law, HR and ER policies and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- An ability to adapt to change and a strong growth mindset to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
