This high-performing team are now looking for a confident In-house Lawyer who is keen to take the next step in their career. You would join the General Counsel who has an incredibly varied background with experience working both in NZ and overseas for top tiers. They are a down-to-earth manager with an open-door policy and they are keen to develop you into a strong in-house lawyer.

In this role you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and advising on a variety of commercial contracts. A large focus on this role will be reviewing service agreements, supply and technology agreements and confidentiality agreements. You will also give general commercial advice and act as a trusted advisor for the group.

They are looking for someone with good technical discipline, a pragmatist who is relatable and confident in their ability but is also keen to learn and progress their knowledge.

You will need at least 5 years of experience, ideally in private practice and an in-house environment. You also need to have solid experience in commercial contracts and negotiations along with proven experience dealing with key stakeholders and clients.
