Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Network Controller reporting to our Control Centre Manager. This role is critical to ensuring the safe operation and access of our network. If you have working knowledge of SCADA and a background in high and/or low voltage electrical, we want to talk to you. You will work across the network controlling high and low voltage, sub-transmission and distribution.

This is an exciting role with Orion where you are responsible for keeping the lights on. We will give you all the training you need for this busy and high-pressured environment. So, if you love what you do, and are looking for a new challenge come and join the team at Orion.

**The role**:

- Monitor and control the network including field alarms, fault work and public outages
- Prepare, check and direct Operating Orders in response to requests to enable work to be undertaken safely on our network
- Ensure the status of our network is continually updated within our network management system
- Ensure the necessary control measures are installed for the issue of Live Line Work and Work Authorities

**About you**:

- Proven working knowledge of SCADA within a complex and busy environment
- Relevant electrical qualification and experience
- Strong and transparent communication and interpersonal skills
- A willingness and desire to grow your current knowledge
- Ability with work in a complex and high-pressure environment with attention to detail
- A great sense of humour and a positive outlook and approach to your work
