We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join our Water team in Nelson. You will work with our wider management team and will be responsible for overall delivery of our key contract with the Tasman District Council as well as helping manage water construction projects/ associated regional opportunities. This is a great role for a driven individual looking to make their mark

You will also be part of the greater Southern Water leadership team and help drive the delivery and growth in your area.

**About the opportunity**:
Organisation is key in this role, where you are responsible for forward planning, programming coordinating resource and let’s not forget the best part - delivering high quality work to the community you live in. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the water maintenance/ construction teams and your day will include but not be limited to:

- Management of TDC Contract and any other assigned contracts to ensure contract performance meets customer requirements in terms of quality and timeframes
- Producing project methodology, budgets and programmes
- Collaborative stakeholder engagement and fronting client meetings
- Lead future tenders’ submissions and quotations
- Focusing on industry leading quality and health and safety
- Directing and leading managers, supervisors, and their teams as well as sub-contractors
