We are on the lookout for a Site Operations Assistant to be based at our GBC Service Centre in Wellington.

**Your operational activities will include**:

- Health and safety of yourself and others whilst on site
- Complete silo dips and ensure silos are topped up
- General maintenance and cleaning of the plant, equipment and service centre.
- Assisting with the dispatch for timely distributions of products to customers
- Maintaining the blending plant and stocks
- Ensuring availability of all products supplied to our customers

**About you**:

- Mechanically minded and not afraid to get your hands dirty
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with a good level of computer literacy
- You will be highly organised, punctual and have high standards for your workplace
- You will enjoy problem solving and is driven to achieve results
- Flexibility in this role is a must as occasionally you will be required to work in the weekends and outside of core business hours
- Hold a current forklift licence or a willingness to train, a full clean driver licence and have reliable transport
- Some manual handling is required so you must be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
