Electromechanical Installation Engineer

**Who will you be working for?**
**What will you be doing?**
As a member of the Project Engineering team you will be responsible for the timely and efficient execution of the build, test, installation and commissioning of RGL-supplied products and solutions. You will also be responsible for the training of customer operators and technical staff.
This position is based in Auckland, however projects are nationwise so regulat trips outside of Auckland and occasional trips to the South Island are required. You can expect to spend 20 - 60% of your time on site (with a company car provided).
**Who are we looking for?**
- You are a high achiever that enjoys producing results.
- Strong understanding of both mechanical and low voltage electrical technology, as well as the ability to understand complex product schematics, detailed manufacturing drawings and technical maintenance manuals.
- Practical, hand-on experience is a must. Ideally you will have previous training and experience e.g. as a Maintenance and Diagnostic Technician, Fitter Turner / Welder, Machine Builder, Installation Engineer, Project Engineer etc.
- Ideally you already possess an Electrical Service Technician (EST) or similar qualification, or are willing to work towards it.
- You are a doer. A practical and hands-on Engineer, proficient in the use of both hand and power tools. This is not a desk job.
- You are highly computer literate, familiar with networking, PLCs, uploading / downloading code.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and both the technical and communication skills to provide sound technical advice and training to clients. Your written spoken English needs to be clear and precise.
- You have great customer relation skills and are easy to get on with.You have a can-do attitude, enjoy being challenged and want to grow your skills and experience in a close-knit team environment.
- You must has a valid New Zealand Driver's Licence.
