The role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Senior Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the operation of mass spectrometers for analysing a variety of sample types and matrices. You will help to train more junior technicians and develop new methodology to keep up with scientific advances.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to:

- Run and maintain laboratory instrumentation to high QA/QC standards.
- Help to manage workflows and sample priorities with the Lead Operator.
- Contribute to the operational and administrative duties to run the laboratory.

About you
- BSc in a physical science (chemistry, earth sciences, environmental sciences, geology or related preferred).
- Experience with stable isotopes and mass spectrometry.
- At least five years of experience working in a laboratory.
