**Āu Mahi | What You Will Do**
We are seeking a Kairuruku Whakatairanga | Marketing Coordinator to join our team, focusing on the Kōawa Creative Technologies Precinct. In this role, you will collaborate with our small Kōawa team, UC marketing, communication and events teams, various departments, and external partners to support marketing efforts. Your main responsibilities will include developing and executing marketing activities and content to boost the visibility and brand awareness of Kōawa within the screen and creative technologies industries. Think film production companies, animation studio's, game studio's and immersive technology businesses locally and internationally. **Mōu | Who You Are**
You will be an experienced Marketing Coordinator with at least 4-5 years' in a marketing role, as well as have experience in:
- Development and implementation of marketing plans
- Working with teams to guide strategic development of goals and objectives
- Proficiency in a variety of media channels such as social media - content planning, writing, creative and community management, search tools, microsite/website best practice, digital, print and video production.
- Have exceptional communicative abilities and experience in managing the design and creation of a variety of media.
- Experience working within brand guidelines and ensuring adherence to them
- Project or event management experience
- Ability to understand and analyse data, draw meaningful insights and bring creativity to solving problems
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to write and deliver succinct business proposals and plans
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office tools particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Adobe suite an advantage.
- Experience in working within defined budget parameters
- Excellent time management skills and experience working in deadline-drive environments
